The secret agents of the sacred lift are back to defend the world after a short break... or perhaps someone was too lazy to record down their heroic efforts to save the Earth. Yes, these people are the unsung heroes that risk life and limb solely for the sake of protecting the innocent. In fact, today's story is one worthy of being recorded in history, considering the things our agents have put on the line, and deftly showed wit, stealth and speed in this very episode.
Before I tell you about today, I have to confess that the agents have been caught and tortured before... IF you were wondering why the recent episodes haven't been uploaded, it's because the agent's hands are too pain and bruised to even type... Yes, they were tortured that badly. The agents were ambushed on all sides, with no way out, they chose peace instead of endangering innocent lives and decided to surrender to the evil villain who tortured them =D. They were humiliated, injured, decapitated ( ok maybe not THAT bad). But you get the idea.
Of course, our brave agents have made a comeback that everyone* has been awaiting for... to help protect the future of the Earth!

Agent Bronson peeing... i mean reporting in...

Once again, our mission was perilous, fraught with untold danger. Every step could be our last, any mistake could be fatal but the courage in our hearts overcame that fear. Our mind was focused, we were in tip-top condition after a rest. In fact, the agents were also using their rest period to improve themselves by taking academic exams ( what, you think agent training was always practical and no theory?)
Let me give you an example of a question: (Try it out and see if you're an agent! The answer is at the bottom.)
1. What do you do when you see an enemy that is nearby but has NOT detected you:
1) You charge and punch his/her face till it melts on the ground.
2) Take a gun attached with a silencer and take him out quickly.
3) Persuade him/ her to let you through.
2. What will you do if you see an enemy and he/she has DETECTED and is CONFRONTING you. ( This question will show which agent you are like)
1) You smile and act retarded in order to escape.
2) You just stand there stunned, hoping the enemy will think you are harmless.
3) You pee on your pants (Guess who!)
Alright let's get back to business.
It was after our lesson of literature, a subject that is used by agents to detect lies, sarcasm and irony. Our mission was to safely get to the seventh level WITHOUT getting caught, the enemy seems to be getting smarter ( or probably luckier) nowadays. We rushed to the second floor, avoiding all the cameras planted to detect enemy intrusion. With speed, skill, technique, we used various stunts to avoid the cameras. Usually we would hack into the security system and disable all the cameras but time was running out... Not to mention that it is always more fun and cool to do all these stunts. We ARE supposed to be cool agents ya know ;).
The second floor was empty, anyone could tell ( ok not ANYONE, but trained agents are keen in the eye and sharp in the mind) that it was a trap set for us. After sweeping the area and making sure no surprise attacks were sprung on us, Si Cheng deftly pushed the cold metallic button of the lift.
Ding!
The lifts doors slowly opened, revealing a gigantic bouncer twice (or THRICE) the size of all three agents put together. We were in grave peril now. Fortunately the bouncer wasn't very bright at all. Si Cheng and I swiftly blended in with the crowded, pretending to be deep in discussion and walking along the corridor. Bronson... well... let's just say he's called Pee Boy for a reason. Once the humongous bouncer blundered past our two agents equipped with lithe and well built frames, we instantly did a 180 degree turn and rushed into the lift, with the bouncer barely a metre away from us. Of course, we did it so suddenly, so skilfully that it would have been tough to even know that we were gone. The lift door slowly closed, and the agents heaved a sigh of relief. Mission successful again!
This has been a great comeback for the agents, it shows that no matter what has happened, they have not become rusty in every area. Clear evidence has revealed that the agents have recovered from their bad luck streak and is ready to take on people who threaten the world... AGAIN!
* Everybody who actually reads the essays...
Answer time!
If you answer 1,2 or even 3 for question 1, you are definitely not agent material. The answer is none of the above, if you see the enemy just RUN for it. The question requires flexible thinking which is a strict criteria to become an agent.
If you answered 1 for the second question, congrats, you have mastered the art of disguise like Joel!
If you answered 2 for the second question, congrats, you have mastered the art of being dense like Si Cheng!
If you answered 3 for the second question, congrats, you have mastered the art of... oh wait... everybody can pee. Well at least you've learned how to pee compulsively like Bronson. Till next time!

The Irony of Exams
Yay, I'm bored so i'm gonna write some article about the irony of exams. Sue me for being boring but I really dunno what else to write now... all i recall doing now is rotting on the couch/bed/ here with no meaning in life... Whee what fun!
Yes, so let's start on a very very VERY^100000000000000000000e^0 important subject which is exams. Damn I just realized that the exam period is pretty fun ( ok, maybe not so for some but I had FUN!). Think about it, when the exams were here there were so many things to do ( or you could do - NO, studying is NOT included). We get dismissed early everyday, and honestly speaking do you really want to sit through 3 periods of maths rather than do an A Math paper 1 or something. Heck, I'd still rather do like... 2 papers of A math ( O level standard =D) than take 3 periods of maths... oh wait, replace maths with mother tongue ty.
Anyway, we not only had time to do stuff, we were like able to go home in the afternoon and take a nice nap! Since when did we EVER have the chance to do that during the normal school days anyway. By the time we reach home, it's like 4 and you're like " Damn, I'm in the middle of nowhere. I can't sleep because night is falling and I can't concentrate because I'm so TIRED!" But of course I have a very simple solution for you and it lies in the wonderful substance called caffeine. Drink one cup of tea to keep awake till night, one cup of coffee to keep awake till the next morning or one double shot of espresso to kill off your kidney. Now I'm not encouraging you guys to start chugging down loads of tea till your kidney splatters out through your mouth or something but if you really must keep awake this is a good alternative to banging your head on the wall multiple times.
Of course there ARE bad points to this... having drinking tea for a few years I realize that even though I am able to stay awake ( just to hear you breathing... ok cancel that) I am still unable to concentrate as well as my super intelligent brain equivalent to four super computers that are overclocked should work. Note: I am using hyperboles to get my point past... oh wait wasn't the topic supposed to be about exams. Must be the effect of the tea that allows me to ramble on randomly.
Anyway, exams are definitely superior to normal lessons. This effect is only temporary, but can easily be remedied if the exam scripts weren't marked. After all, exams give us a goal to work towards to ( haven't we been studying for 4 years just for an O level paper?). Notice how bored I am after the prelims are over - writing crappy essays to pass the time. Furthermore, everyone works ( though at a different level) to obtain desired results*. There's always to benefit of setting the path to a bright future ( that's long term), the mid term benefit of getting some cash from your parents IF they are generous or something ( applicable to some only), and there's the short term benefit - this is REALLY short term - of laughing in your friend's face.... Oh wait, scrap that part, people will probably hate you and unless you can guarantee you don't need friends and can constantly beat them to a pulp academically. I recommend you don't try this at all.
Well, well, well... better stop here eh? Anyway it's already pretty long and stuff, and it's not about secret agent missions so if you guys read this you'll probably be bored to tears... if you even manage to reach this portion in the first place. At least the blog is revived right?....Right? Eh anyway I don't think the title really fits but who cares! I can't possibly put the pros and cons( of exams+ of caffeine). Great now i'm blurting stuff out randomly and telling bear jokes. Better stop now... see you guys on wednesday!

Teacher's Day (continued)
Monday, September 3, 2007
I don't wanna miss anything in 4c!
Alright i'm gonna embed the ridiculously embarrassing video of us singing. I mean watch it man, the singing might not be great and the curls might be hair raisingly high. But when i watch it, the warmth and strong bond between all 4cs are very evident. I know you guys are laughing during the curls and yeah they were really abit high because i was very nervous :D so have a look and have fun!

here again
well im back here again as an add on to joels post below. i think it will be better sounding if you read joels first before this.
well anyway, i think teachers day is going to be last event that our class will celebrate, as a class officially, bfore graduation day. on the day before teachers day, i was burdened by an anxiety that event wouldnt be, ya know, fun fer everyone. years of organising bbqs has taught me one thing- to hav everyone enjoying themselves, n havin a great time with one another, is the only thing i wish for, for every organised gathering.
i guess the biggest problem that provoked me to great uncertainty was the song. whilst doing the "cheesy" ppt, i was thinkin. this aint gonna work man. tis bad.
i consulted brian online for help.
sc:im considering now
sc:whether
sc:we even want the whole class to sway behind
sc:cos like, quite idiotic (this meaning the swaying movements)
brian:class effort man
sc:surely will stop swaying aft a while
brian:its teachers day
brian:not teachers and part 4c day
brian:and leave them behind
brian:eventually they'd sing
brian:whether they like it or not
brian:because its dumb to just stand behind
brian:so just leave them the same way they were today
sc:ok
you cld say that the reason that made me feel so unassured was last year's gathering. the very first. yall wld know, that the gathering was planned on impulse, on mere preassumption, on inexact estimation, on faith in the class. bam. crumbled into nothing.
stopped me from daring too much, or to an even larger extent, from understanding too much.
I guess I didn't understand what stuff 4c was made of. didn't understand the circumstance, the situation, that brian did think of.
as we all should know, teachers day went better than planned, surpassing expectations, and pounding all doubts. well.. it was a shame for me to think such things.
guess this class of ours seriously did teach me many things. Not just this teachers day, but the whole year. i entered 3c with a young, immature, narrow-minded view on many things. but after this whole experience with the lot, i feel i owe this class alot more. we may be the last in grades and stuff but i think this experience has been one of the most enriching ones in sec four.
learned to be alot more real in life, being more human to ppl.
learned what acceptance meant.
learned how different people can, in taste and in character, still befriend one another. tis has been a serious eye opener.
learned that it is not good to begrudge, detest, berate openly, anger.
etc.
im inspired to create the class tshirt before our next gathering aft o's, yea so in conclusion..
PLEASE STUDY HARD AND DO NOT PROCRUSHTINATE THIS HOLS BECAUSE TIME DOES NOT TURN TO UNLEARNED TIDINGS. see yall around, soon :-)
