Farewell FLC
Greetings all my loyal FLC members, today as you can see from the title that I've made a tremendous decision. Yes, I'm gonna create my own blog and FLC is stopping, I suppose.
There are several reasons for this sudden decision. First of all it's a class blog so I feel quite weird posting my own stuff on it... especially when it seems like I'm the only one making an attempt to keep the blog alive. Anyway, I understand most of you are busy people so yeah, we rarely have time to blog at all...
Second, I can't even continue FLC in my new JC. For one thing, my class end at 5 on friday and as I'm taking lit, it's extremely hard to coordinate as I have different lessons and timetables from my class.
Thirdly and most importantly, the class blog seems dead. I really can't describe it any other way, it's like a magnet slowly losing its attraction. Just look at our tagboard, empty, lonely, without a soul. Now that we're separated, it's hard to talk and connect, it's as if we're all going our own ways. Yes, we keep in touch if we're in the same jc, but even so... those in different jcs seem to be difficult to catch up with.
I think FLC and brought many pleasant memories to us, to me, to the whole of 4c. I will never forget the times that we've shared together as a class, the retarded actions, the agent personas that we took on in a bid to entertain ourselves.
Time to say goodbye...

The title was just some random nonsense to catch your attention but if you're reading this post it must have done it's job =). Anyway since you're here feel free to read on hahahahaha.
This is just to update you guys on my jc life, not like there's much else to talk about other than the fact that
I BOUGHT A PS3 OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG IT'S DAMN BLOODY FUN BUT I HAVE NO TIME TO PLAY IT. Ok i'm done. So far I only Time Crisis 4 but with all the extra shit it's gonna take quite awhile before i'm sick of it. Plus i have that gay gun which makes it more fun.
I just realized that little kids still annoy the hell out of me. Maybe I'm a loveless creature but there's something about that random running and screaming and not caring about others that make you wanna slap them... Plus I'm like a little kid myself so I don't need constant reminders. I don't need 10000000 Joels running around being little brats. THAT'S MY JOB. Ok but I've toned down in JC hahahaha. Next time when I have kids it's probably because I forgot to use preventive measures.
JC life is getting busier by the week and there are new classmates coming in. Well they seem like nice people so it shouldn't be a problem mixing around. Now that Jasmine has gone to AJ ( she appealed there... not kena rejected like SI CHENG HAHAHAHAHAA), our group of 3 has dropped to a group of 2... if you could consider that a group in the first place. Lectures are getting more and more complicated aka more and more boring so I'll probably have to put in some of my own effort to catch up.
Hopefully that 4c gathering wasn't the last one for the year and I'm sure you guys can MAKE time to have another reunion during the March Hols. Yes, you freakin MJ muggers, I said MAKE time. Stop doing your tutorials man, almost no one in my class does them... especially not in advance. Well I'm done ranting like a mad man here on the blog, see ya!

Year of the Rat
Yesterday, I was at the escalator (exiting the City Hall MRT)
when I heard someone shriek very loudly. For one wild moment, scenes of robbery, assaults , dudes with guns and swords from movies flashed through my mind...only to see a RAT scampering down the escalator.
Caused quite a bit of commotion .Then it scampered onto some woman's feet, who jumped in hysteria, resulting in the poor rodent flying and landing on my feet (cuddly and furry feeling for a few secs) before scampering off again. In addition, the escalator was heading upwards while the poor rodent was heading downwards. The poor lil rodent on the treadmill thus scampered on and on for quite a while, sending more ladies ( and several guys) into states of hysteria and brought about quite abit of chaos.
Year of the Rat indeed . HAHAHAHAHA !!! Hilarious day.
Not intending to be mean, but the expressions on some their faces...HAHHAHHAHHAHA !!!!
(this shalt be my second feeble attempt to revive the blog)

The 100th post! Haha
Yo guys, members of the FLC, all of 4c and any visitors to this blog. This is the 100th post of our blog. Let's commemorate it with pride haha. FLC has certainly come a long way since our humble beginnings in April 2007, a random and spontaneous "CCA" appeared out of the blue ever since the president ( Ahem ahem) went out every friday for lunch with his friends. Well, it was convenient last time since I had physics tuition with 2 other classmates so the others will just tag along and eat lunch. Now even though we don't do it AS often, it's still fun and good. Just spend more time each time we meet hahaha. Looking foward to the class reunion on monday! I dun think all the teachers can make it but the thing is that 4c is gonna be together again haha =).
Anyway CNY has been pretty fun, my parents have already been nice this year so I don't mind them taking all my ang paos. The fact is that they give out the money as well, so it's only fair that they get it back. Anyway for the eve and the first day I spent quite alot of time at the arcade, completed Time Crisis 3 and 4 again for some nostalgia... I realize I could recite their lines by heart already haha. Anyway didn't spend much at the arcade... until I blew my money on House of the Dead 4 again today... haha I'm not very good at that game yet =).
Went Jocelyn's house today with Jasmine... was very complicated at the first with lots of change in timings and confirming and reconfirming and traveling but it all fell in place haha. I have to admit it was quite fun la, since I rarely go my friend's house on CNY. At first we were finding something to do like watch a movie or something, but we realized that they were all disc covers ( aka no disc inside)... so we anyhow channel surf for awhile. Then we started to go on the laptop and surf friendster, look at Jocelyn's year book and start commenting on whether the person is "chio" or not lol. Spent like 3-4 hours at her house doing that and it was surprisingly fun. Like just talk and stuff our faces with goodies... Her room is very nice... especially her powerpuff girl bed which I chose not to take a picture of or she'll probably eat... I mean kill me.
That's basically the end of my CNY lor... mostly quite fun la it's one of the best I've had so far. Looking forward to the reunion on mon guys! =)

THE BLOG IS NOT DEAD
Due to overwhelming response on the tagboard that the blog is dead, it isn't. The end.
No duh of course not. If my posts were really becoming that short then the blog really IS dead. Anyway I've been so busy the past few days and coming home late so I don't really have the time to even use the computer and when I do use the computer half of the time i just watch a bunch of lame shows then go to sleep. Yay me.
JC life is like super busy la I'm sure those in MJ would agree due to the heavy workload they seem to have. Everytime cannot go out one... basket then complain the blog is dead... YOU SHALL BURN IN HELL!!!
So for the past few days this is what I've done in school.
First, we painted a banner with Por Yee showing off his opera skills and singing Phantom of the Opera so loudly that Subra got pissed off. Hi five Por yee lol. Later we went to Thaipan to eat dinner, there were like only 8 ppl and I reached home at 1030+. Instant KO on the bed.
Yesterday, I went to my grandmother's house after school and school ended around 530 and was after P.E. VJ P.E is damn hiong one they make sure all your muscle groups get beaten up so I was super exhausted. The initial plan was for my mother to fetch me there but since she was waiting for my sis to be dismissed ( the girl who doesn't call if she comes 2 hours later). I was persuaded by Jocelyn to take 36 and go to city hall THEN change to Dhoby Ghaut THEN go to serangoon.
Allow me to quote her exact words, " Take 36 very fast one!"
Anyway that's what we did, and we stopped at Marina Square. So there's only the two of us and we're not exactly familiar with the place. We entered Marina and came into a cross road... spliting 3 directions. So Jocelyn said with confidence that we should go that way... guess what... it's the wrong way! Walk all the way to the end and we had to walk back lol. Of course I chose the correct path next... but a 50/50 chance of getting it right isn't really something to boast about. Let's say I left school about 545, I only reached my grand mother's house at around 745 lol. But at least it was pretty fun, keep talking about lame stuff.
So when I finally reached home at about 1030, another instant KO. Really no time to do anything la i mean... I didn't even touch the computer.
By the way I'm planning to run for SC aka Student's Council. I'm sure I'll be a great help to all the people in VJ. After all, my secondary school CCA records clearly reflect this. HAHAHAHAHHAHA.
P.S let's have class outing soon you busy little #!@$@#!$s!

O levels are offically history!
Today has been a great day for me... maybe not for the whole class but I can quite safely say that most of the people in my class were happy with their results. I was super gloomy at the start, just couldn't stop thinking about results... pulling a long face all day when I came to school. Sorry guys, was really nervous =). Praise God for the results though, usually I don't bring religion into my posts but this time it was really a miracle that I pulled through.
The most unexpected grade was from History/Elec... Those in my class would know that in History I'm either sleeping, daydreaming or simply ponning all the extra lessons. For O's I only studied one chapter each and was "freestyling" during the exam aka writing nonsense lol. But when I saw the slip I got stunned... A1... maybe the markers were on drugs.
Anyway the best part is that I get to stay with my beloved class! Haha really like them, didn't know we could grow so close in such a short time span. Sorry S53, you're just gonna have to endure me for another 2 years. Oh yeah! Anyway had a great class outing with them yesterday (Wednesday), but the start up was pretty screwed up haha. Everyone said meet at 530 but we ended up waiting till 630. Then actually we're supposed to meet Jasmine and Jocelyn at Potong Pasir but we made them go all the way to Paya Lebar. Sorry girls, we're just fickle minded =). Anyway everything went great from there, had dinner and went to Jun Ren's house to watch Blades of Glory... I only like it because it has I don't wanna miss a thing =). But the thing is that we spent time together and it was FUN. The main thing is that it was FUN. I think we took quite a bit of photos too. Tsk tsk tsk... cam whores =).
On a sidenote, it was extremely challenging for me to take photos of Jasmine and Jocelyn. Half of the time Jocelyn would say stuff like "OMG my hair looks like shit", the other half of the time would be Jasmine saying " Retake, the photo not nice one...". The best part when they wanted me to take a photo of them jumping, they said "HEY WHY YOU NEVER TAKE THE LEGS" lol it was super funny la. After 6 tries, we still couldn't get it right. If I took the legs the head will not be in the pic if I don't take the legs it'll look weird... man life is tough...
I really hope that all of us can remain in VJ... our class has given me some good memories already and it's only the first month. To those that didn't get their expected results, don't worry O levels isn't the end. It's just the beginning and I'm sure you can bounce back in A levels. Work hard and don't give up because no matter what life still goes on. Wish everyone the best!

Its been quite a while since Ive been here. Well, as we all should know, tomorrow's the big day and there will be alot of laughter and sadness in the hall. Just wanna say that, whatever we all get, let us not forget the amazing experience of our sec4 class which is genuine and classic =D itll be the first time in a long while that I will take 76 back to VS to see the East side again. How very different the East is from the North! hc and bron will agree most willingly. Kevin, i lost alot of the videos we took throughout the year, can you send the files over msn or sth? or YouSendIt la. whichever will do lol.

The Rise of a new Superhero...
The earth is in grave danger....
The enemies are plentiful...
Who will rise to stop the Earth from falling into a path of inevitable destruction?
When evil appears, naturally a hero will arise...
The cries of Mother Earth have been heard by one man...
They call him... The Green Monitor!
* Cue heroic sounding music right now*
We all know that The GM has humble backgrounds... he was a normal man at first, when he was unwittingly sabotaged by two of his trusted friends to take part in a sick experiment that gave him his super powers. These powers, if abused, might cause the destruction of the Earth - which is why he has vowed never to use his powers for personal reasons.
In the year 2008, the Earth is facing a desperate crisis... Oil prices are sharply rising, scarce resources are disappearing rapidly, global warming is becoming a serious issue and the economy is headed towards a deep plunge. Only one man can salvage this situation... The GM. He works hard daily to try and make the Earth a better place, cleaning up after others with a servant's heart, all for the sake of the people. He blends in easily with the others in an institution called Victoria Junior College... none know of his secret identity....
One fine day in his classroom, V37, the class was dismissed after a CT session... But there was some serious trouble in the air...literally. The air-cons were not switched off! How ridiculous! The GM realised that the lights were still using up 240 volts per second... What a waste of resources! What a significant amount of destruction this school was causing by wasting electricity!
With his lightning fast fingers, the GM quickly pushed all the switches till everything was off. Cartwheeling to the air-con controller, he deftly lifted it up while somersaulting to the front of the air-cons and pushing the power button.
"Dee Dee!" , the air-cons gave one final sigh and gave up their evil plots to ruin the earth.
And once again, the day is saved, thanks to the GM!

The SECOND most embarassing thing in my life
Well school life seems to be picking up already... not as boring as before if you have someone to talk to of course. Today during our long break we went to parkway to have lunch... sounds familiar doesn't it? Just reminds of FLC, though we're still not as close in my new class - dun worry, we'll have 2 years to get to know each other.
How many times have we stepped down the stair way to B1 of parkway together in 4c?
How many times have we made a racket on the buses, joking around and suanning each other?
How many times have we argued about what to eat and stand around in the middle of no where for like 15 minutes before going to the foodcourt... again?
Good memories flashed through my mind... a little sadness, but good memories none the less. Hopefully we'll have another 23 FLC members ( heh heh that's my class strength btw.)
Now, coming to our headlines for this post... the second most embarassing thing I have ever done ( the list just keeps building itself doesn't it?).
We were playing some weird 50 cent game, like those ice breaker games in our class, when I lost and had to do a forfeit.
The forfeit is pure torture... I can't believe they actually thought of such a thing...
Firstly, I had to go up to a random girl in the school canteen ( which is really crowded by the way).
Then, I have to pretend to trip and fall in front of the girl...
Now this is the "best" part, I have to tell her in the face, " I fell for you"....
Damn corny right? But apparently my classmates had fun watching... clap so loud somemore... I'm not the kind to say cheesey lines you know =). I think I'm gonna dig a hole in the floor and put my head in the next time I see the girl...
P.E is torture by the way... especially after receiving inside info from JOCElyn ( pronounced JOYCE-lyn for some odd reason) that the teacher was biased towards males zzz. Must do some commando push up thing until my muscles ached when I came back... better pass my mock test then I won't have to attend P.E... heh heh.
Anyway FLC members, there's a meeting on Sun night if you guys are free to come. 7pm meeting at City Hall MRT! Will send out smses in case no one reads the blog anymore T_T. Hope to see you guys there!

Work Work
Sigh it's back to books and lessons in VJC. I wouldn't say everything is boring but majority of the lessons are... (SURPRISE!) Let's have a little competition for most boring lesson so far...
In third place... MATH lecture! Yes, sitting in an air conditioned room lulls you into sleep, but it's ultimately the lecturer that determines your level of lethargy on that day... this lesson is the most boring in the aspect that it is the most plain. Take notes -> Sit -> Copy stuff on board-> Attempt to keep eyes open. Very standard procedure, probably a one way ticket to the land of Zs.
In second place... PHYSICS lecture! I think it's a known fact that lectures are like "the sleeping place". Our physics teacher might not be boring, but his voice is pretty droney and the only thing that is able to keep us awake is the occasional lame jokes that he makes. Kinda reminds me of Mr Koh in secondary 3 though... But being in a state of " I want to sleep but cannot sleep" is far more torturing than simply sleeping.
Finally... the best of the best... the boring of the boring... PHYSICS PRACTICAL! Yes, you heard me... PRACTICAL. Funny thing is... the teacher was teaching theory in the practical lab. Interesting isn't it? NOT. He took a full one hour to teach us about how many sig figs we should use. He's quite an entertaining character though i spotted like 5 of my classmates being KOed. He says he's gonna think of an example... stones for like 10 minutes till one guy asks " Sir, what are we doing now?". Lol pwned. Physics prac is a definite no-no for me.
I'm sure most of you expected Chinese to be in there somewhere, shockingly ( and sadly), it isn't THAT boring. It was pretty interesting in fact, the teacher was pretty lax with us though she looks strict. She wears her glass on tip of her nose, like those intimidating old grannies but still... don't judge a book by it's cover.
Ah well, late days, boring lectures, massive amount of homework... that's all part of JC life. At least I'm starting to know my classmates better, just have to give it some time I guess. Hopefully 4c will still keep in contact and I'll be waiting to see you guys on the day of results! Though it might not be a joyous occasion for some ( personally I have some reservations as well), but let's try our best to celebrate our reunion. Crying is ok, as long as you pick yourself up on the way again. Can't wait to see you guys =)!

Orientation power
Ah... School has finally started... after a whole lot whining and complaining about having nothing to do during the holidays, we've returned to the place where we first started. Now we're probably gonna spend the whole of the school term complaining that there's too much work and there should be more holidays. What a vicious cycle.
Orientation is near its end and I have to say I was wrong to judge it by it's first day. VJ's orientation rocks! Let me give you a summary of the progress of my orientation period up to now.
1st day: I was a stone. Seriously. Just not used to approaching strangers and making the first move so I was really quiet. Our OGLs were probably at their wits end trying to make us interact with one another. I kinda went home feeling sian... didn't want to go for the second day. I was wrong. I made the right move by attending the second day because it was great.
2nd day: People were starting to open up. Though we're still not very close, I think that we're starting to know each other better and socialising more. That obviously means more fun and stuff. Mostly mixing with Nicholas, Melphin, Zhen Zhi, Deborah and Audrey. They helped make the day better. People who know me knows that I talk alot of crap =). Dancing was fun... but I feel kinda bad for my partner heh heh. Sorry but I'm just a lousy dancer. Jia Xin usually stops me from ponning but thanks to her I had quite alot of fun. Highlight of the day: 1st day, majority say can go OGL dinner, in the end it was cancelled because only 3 people could make it. GG all.
3rd day: Too much mass dancing results in body aching. But still I pity the MJ people more, they're dismissed at 8-9pm everyday. Water games were... not really as "watery" as I expected. Got intro-ed to my form class which is pretty stony. Hopefully that'll change. Not much to say about the 3rd day. Skits and stuff were really comical and interesting. Lots of lame jokes flying around also like
1) What's the most high ranking ant? Ans: Import-ant. ( Err...)
2) What's the heaviest noodles? Ans: One-ton mee ( Wantan mee) ( Um......)
3) Why the lightning strike the tree? Ans: Because it is suay (sway) (HAHAHAHA)
Fun stuff man.
Today was the dance at suntec, felt that the OG dinner had quite a nice atmosphere. Everyone was joking around and having fun... kinda like FLC. But the distribution was a little sexist... Girls have one table and Guys have one table. NOT HEALTHY!! =)
It rained heavily during the dance and we were all soaking wet. But it only made it more enjoyable due to the fact that we still stayed to dance the night away. Choo Choo trains were made and shouting the most ridiculous things. Imagine a whole group of guys shouting "Cedar rocks!" ... O right that was my train.
Anyway, FLC should probably resume if we are able to coordinate our schedules. But I think we're gonna have to settle for dinner instead because it'll be quite hard for everyone to make it. So we'll make arrangements later on. Probably won't be a weekly affair anymore haha. But don't worry, just keep in contact. Very tired now, see ya next time!
