Today has been a great day for me... maybe not for the whole class but I can quite safely say that most of the people in my class were happy with their results. I was super gloomy at the start, just couldn't stop thinking about results... pulling a long face all day when I came to school. Sorry guys, was really nervous =). Praise God for the results though, usually I don't bring religion into my posts but this time it was really a miracle that I pulled through.
The most unexpected grade was from History/Elec... Those in my class would know that in History I'm either sleeping, daydreaming or simply ponning all the extra lessons. For O's I only studied one chapter each and was "freestyling" during the exam aka writing nonsense lol. But when I saw the slip I got stunned... A1... maybe the markers were on drugs.
Anyway the best part is that I get to stay with my beloved class! Haha really like them, didn't know we could grow so close in such a short time span. Sorry S53, you're just gonna have to endure me for another 2 years. Oh yeah! Anyway had a great class outing with them yesterday (Wednesday), but the start up was pretty screwed up haha. Everyone said meet at 530 but we ended up waiting till 630. Then actually we're supposed to meet Jasmine and Jocelyn at Potong Pasir but we made them go all the way to Paya Lebar. Sorry girls, we're just fickle minded =). Anyway everything went great from there, had dinner and went to Jun Ren's house to watch Blades of Glory... I only like it because it has I don't wanna miss a thing =). But the thing is that we spent time together and it was FUN. The main thing is that it was FUN. I think we took quite a bit of photos too. Tsk tsk tsk... cam whores =).
On a sidenote, it was extremely challenging for me to take photos of Jasmine and Jocelyn. Half of the time Jocelyn would say stuff like "OMG my hair looks like shit", the other half of the time would be Jasmine saying " Retake, the photo not nice one...". The best part when they wanted me to take a photo of them jumping, they said "HEY WHY YOU NEVER TAKE THE LEGS" lol it was super funny la. After 6 tries, we still couldn't get it right. If I took the legs the head will not be in the pic if I don't take the legs it'll look weird... man life is tough...
I really hope that all of us can remain in VJ... our class has given me some good memories already and it's only the first month. To those that didn't get their expected results, don't worry O levels isn't the end. It's just the beginning and I'm sure you can bounce back in A levels. Work hard and don't give up because no matter what life still goes on. Wish everyone the best!

Its been quite a while since Ive been here. Well, as we all should know, tomorrow's the big day and there will be alot of laughter and sadness in the hall. Just wanna say that, whatever we all get, let us not forget the amazing experience of our sec4 class which is genuine and classic =D itll be the first time in a long while that I will take 76 back to VS to see the East side again. How very different the East is from the North! hc and bron will agree most willingly. Kevin, i lost alot of the videos we took throughout the year, can you send the files over msn or sth? or YouSendIt la. whichever will do lol.
anyway... jc's life quite different from sec sch life i still feel. i will see you all tmr =) will b prayin for our class.

The Rise of a new Superhero...
The earth is in grave danger....
The enemies are plentiful...
Who will rise to stop the Earth from falling into a path of inevitable destruction?
When evil appears, naturally a hero will arise...
The cries of Mother Earth have been heard by one man...
They call him... The Green Monitor!
* Cue heroic sounding music right now*
We all know that The GM has humble backgrounds... he was a normal man at first, when he was unwittingly sabotaged by two of his trusted friends to take part in a sick experiment that gave him his super powers. These powers, if abused, might cause the destruction of the Earth - which is why he has vowed never to use his powers for personal reasons.
In the year 2008, the Earth is facing a desperate crisis... Oil prices are sharply rising, scarce resources are disappearing rapidly, global warming is becoming a serious issue and the economy is headed towards a deep plunge. Only one man can salvage this situation... The GM. He works hard daily to try and make the Earth a better place, cleaning up after others with a servant's heart, all for the sake of the people. He blends in easily with the others in an institution called Victoria Junior College... none know of his secret identity....
One fine day in his classroom, V37, the class was dismissed after a CT session... But there was some serious trouble in the air...literally. The air-cons were not switched off! How ridiculous! The GM realised that the lights were still using up 240 volts per second... What a waste of resources! What a significant amount of destruction this school was causing by wasting electricity!
With his lightning fast fingers, the GM quickly pushed all the switches till everything was off. Cartwheeling to the air-con controller, he deftly lifted it up while somersaulting to the front of the air-cons and pushing the power button.
"Dee Dee!" , the air-cons gave one final sigh and gave up their evil plots to ruin the earth.
And once again, the day is saved, thanks to the GM!

The SECOND most embarassing thing in my life
Well school life seems to be picking up already... not as boring as before if you have someone to talk to of course. Today during our long break we went to parkway to have lunch... sounds familiar doesn't it? Just reminds of FLC, though we're still not as close in my new class - dun worry, we'll have 2 years to get to know each other.
How many times have we stepped down the stair way to B1 of parkway together in 4c?
How many times have we made a racket on the buses, joking around and suanning each other?
How many times have we argued about what to eat and stand around in the middle of no where for like 15 minutes before going to the foodcourt... again?
Good memories flashed through my mind... a little sadness, but good memories none the less. Hopefully we'll have another 23 FLC members ( heh heh that's my class strength btw.)
Now, coming to our headlines for this post... the second most embarassing thing I have ever done ( the list just keeps building itself doesn't it?).
We were playing some weird 50 cent game, like those ice breaker games in our class, when I lost and had to do a forfeit.
The forfeit is pure torture... I can't believe they actually thought of such a thing...
Firstly, I had to go up to a random girl in the school canteen ( which is really crowded by the way).
Then, I have to pretend to trip and fall in front of the girl...
Now this is the "best" part, I have to tell her in the face, " I fell for you"....
Damn corny right? But apparently my classmates had fun watching... clap so loud somemore... I'm not the kind to say cheesey lines you know =). I think I'm gonna dig a hole in the floor and put my head in the next time I see the girl...
P.E is torture by the way... especially after receiving inside info from JOCElyn ( pronounced JOYCE-lyn for some odd reason) that the teacher was biased towards males zzz. Must do some commando push up thing until my muscles ached when I came back... better pass my mock test then I won't have to attend P.E... heh heh.
Anyway FLC members, there's a meeting on Sun night if you guys are free to come. 7pm meeting at City Hall MRT! Will send out smses in case no one reads the blog anymore T_T. Hope to see you guys there!

Work Work
Sigh it's back to books and lessons in VJC. I wouldn't say everything is boring but majority of the lessons are... (SURPRISE!) Let's have a little competition for most boring lesson so far...
In third place... MATH lecture! Yes, sitting in an air conditioned room lulls you into sleep, but it's ultimately the lecturer that determines your level of lethargy on that day... this lesson is the most boring in the aspect that it is the most plain. Take notes -> Sit -> Copy stuff on board-> Attempt to keep eyes open. Very standard procedure, probably a one way ticket to the land of Zs.
In second place... PHYSICS lecture! I think it's a known fact that lectures are like "the sleeping place". Our physics teacher might not be boring, but his voice is pretty droney and the only thing that is able to keep us awake is the occasional lame jokes that he makes. Kinda reminds me of Mr Koh in secondary 3 though... But being in a state of " I want to sleep but cannot sleep" is far more torturing than simply sleeping.
Finally... the best of the best... the boring of the boring... PHYSICS PRACTICAL! Yes, you heard me... PRACTICAL. Funny thing is... the teacher was teaching theory in the practical lab. Interesting isn't it? NOT. He took a full one hour to teach us about how many sig figs we should use. He's quite an entertaining character though i spotted like 5 of my classmates being KOed. He says he's gonna think of an example... stones for like 10 minutes till one guy asks " Sir, what are we doing now?". Lol pwned. Physics prac is a definite no-no for me.
I'm sure most of you expected Chinese to be in there somewhere, shockingly ( and sadly), it isn't THAT boring. It was pretty interesting in fact, the teacher was pretty lax with us though she looks strict. She wears her glass on tip of her nose, like those intimidating old grannies but still... don't judge a book by it's cover.
Ah well, late days, boring lectures, massive amount of homework... that's all part of JC life. At least I'm starting to know my classmates better, just have to give it some time I guess. Hopefully 4c will still keep in contact and I'll be waiting to see you guys on the day of results! Though it might not be a joyous occasion for some ( personally I have some reservations as well), but let's try our best to celebrate our reunion. Crying is ok, as long as you pick yourself up on the way again. Can't wait to see you guys =)!

Orientation power
Ah... School has finally started... after a whole lot whining and complaining about having nothing to do during the holidays, we've returned to the place where we first started. Now we're probably gonna spend the whole of the school term complaining that there's too much work and there should be more holidays. What a vicious cycle.
Orientation is near its end and I have to say I was wrong to judge it by it's first day. VJ's orientation rocks! Let me give you a summary of the progress of my orientation period up to now.
1st day: I was a stone. Seriously. Just not used to approaching strangers and making the first move so I was really quiet. Our OGLs were probably at their wits end trying to make us interact with one another. I kinda went home feeling sian... didn't want to go for the second day. I was wrong. I made the right move by attending the second day because it was great.
2nd day: People were starting to open up. Though we're still not very close, I think that we're starting to know each other better and socialising more. That obviously means more fun and stuff. Mostly mixing with Nicholas, Melphin, Zhen Zhi, Deborah and Audrey. They helped make the day better. People who know me knows that I talk alot of crap =). Dancing was fun... but I feel kinda bad for my partner heh heh. Sorry but I'm just a lousy dancer. Jia Xin usually stops me from ponning but thanks to her I had quite alot of fun. Highlight of the day: 1st day, majority say can go OGL dinner, in the end it was cancelled because only 3 people could make it. GG all.
3rd day: Too much mass dancing results in body aching. But still I pity the MJ people more, they're dismissed at 8-9pm everyday. Water games were... not really as "watery" as I expected. Got intro-ed to my form class which is pretty stony. Hopefully that'll change. Not much to say about the 3rd day. Skits and stuff were really comical and interesting. Lots of lame jokes flying around also like
1) What's the most high ranking ant? Ans: Import-ant. ( Err...)
2) What's the heaviest noodles? Ans: One-ton mee ( Wantan mee) ( Um......)
3) Why the lightning strike the tree? Ans: Because it is suay (sway) (HAHAHAHA)
Fun stuff man.
Today was the dance at suntec, felt that the OG dinner had quite a nice atmosphere. Everyone was joking around and having fun... kinda like FLC. But the distribution was a little sexist... Girls have one table and Guys have one table. NOT HEALTHY!! =)
It rained heavily during the dance and we were all soaking wet. But it only made it more enjoyable due to the fact that we still stayed to dance the night away. Choo Choo trains were made and shouting the most ridiculous things. Imagine a whole group of guys shouting "Cedar rocks!" ... O right that was my train.
Anyway, FLC should probably resume if we are able to coordinate our schedules. But I think we're gonna have to settle for dinner instead because it'll be quite hard for everyone to make it. So we'll make arrangements later on. Probably won't be a weekly affair anymore haha. But don't worry, just keep in contact. Very tired now, see ya next time!
